THE TRUTH IS that it is ONLY by accepting Jesus and his sacrifice for your sins on the cross at calvary that one can come to salvation.. There Is no other way..But it is not just simply saying idle words it is the act of obedience combined with faith that one becomes a true follower of Our Lord, It is humbly and sincerly confessing your sins before God accepting his death on the cross and than DOING what he says that will bring you to salvation. The bible is your manual STRIVE to learn it.

The true riches in life are not that brand new cadillac you have been drooling over in the parking lot at your favourite car dealership, nor is it that 10 bedroom home with its 5 acre garden, giant swimming pool and landing strip for that private jet you just maxed your credit card out getting.. No, the true riches are the rewards that you get to enjoy in eternity for the work you have done while in this life... 

There is nothing wrong with working hard and enjoying life while you are here, our Lord wants us all to prosper,

John 10:8
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly

But what you must realize that it is only while you are alive that you have the opportunity to earn for yourself rewards that will last for eternity..,.Being saved is just the beginning of the adventure, afterwards comes the excitement of Knowing God followed by all the trials, all the battles and all the tears, It is many things but it is not the time to sit back and think, well i'm saved now I'll just wait till I die and than go to heaven. NO!!! 

Time is a gift and life only a tiny fraction of eternity, we all will stand before Jesus and give an account for our lives, every moment that we live will be accounted for, and it is by those moments that the rewards that you have earned will be given to you. 

The difference between working hard in this life to buy that cadillac as opposed to working hard for eternal rewards is that when you die you can't bring that cadillac with you, however everything you have done while alive
that earns a reward will be yours to enjoy FOREVER.. 

Let's think of it as mutual funds, or perhaps a savings bond..

You have some money and go to the bank to invest it, while you are there, the friendly banker girl shows you two savings bonds that pay a whopping 1000% interest!, Bond A, and Bond B

Bond A pays that interest but it expires in 30 days,and you can't renew it after, Bond B also pays but it never expires you will earn that interest forever. Now given the choice which Bond would you choose? 

That's what life is like, when you spend all your time hording wealth, in reality what you are doing is spending all your time Buying Bond A...the 30 days is the end of your life, and when  it ends guess what? So does the bond..

Be wise! You want to invest your money into Bond B which is the righteous works that you do while here on earth

There's a story in bible which many of you I'm sure have read before, if not take than read it and consider it's wisdom, this comes from the mouth Of God while he was here on earth with us ...I'll post it below, it's a parable Jesus gave us.. and it's also a great warning. Burn this wisdom DEEP into your heart...
 

Lk 16:19-31 (CEV)

Lazarus and the Rich Man

There was once a rich man who wore expensive clothes and every day ate the best food. But a poor beggar named Lazarus was brought to the gate of the rich man's house. He was happy just to eat the scraps that fell from the rich man's table. His body was covered with sores, and dogs kept coming up to lick them. The poor man died, and angels took him to the place of honor next to Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried. He went to hell and was suffering terribly. When he looked up and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side, he said to Abraham, "Have pity on me! Send Lazarus to dip his finger in water and touch my tongue. I'm suffering terribly in this fire."Abraham answered, "My friend, remember that while you lived, you had everything good, and Lazarus had everything bad. Now he is happy, and you are in pain. And besides, there is a deep ditch between us, and no one from either side can cross over." 
 
But the rich man said, "Abraham, then please send Lazarus to my father's home. Let him warn my five brothers, so they won't come to this horrible place." Abraham answered, "Your brothers can read what Moses and the prophets wrote. They should pay attention to that." Then the rich man said, "No, that's not enough! If only someone from the dead would go to them, they would listen and turn to God." So Abraham said, "If they won't pay attention to Moses and the prophets, they won't listen even to someone who comes back from the dead." 

One of the biggest joys in being a christian is the day you finally understand that the bible and everything in it is TRUE. All of Gods promises and all of the warnings inside, all of it is true. How do you get faith to not only believe it's true but to KNOW it's true? By prayer. You have doubt, pray for belief, you have no motivation pray for fire! Jesus is the vine we are the branches go to him for whatever it is you need. without him you can do nothing.

John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

So how do you earn rewards?

Seek Gods will for your life and DO IT
Give to help those in need
Be a Godly mother or Father
Read your bible
Tell the truth of our salvation to others
Develop your relationship with God
Serve others, humbly and with joy
Live a GODLY life

Rewards are a gift from God ,but never forget the true goal, the real success in life is our relationship with God.
