What does it mean to "be saved"
it means to believe and accept the TRUTH that Jesus Christ our saviour
and Lord by His sacrificial death on the cross at calvary paid the penalty
for the sin of mankind,and as a result of that you are no longer condemed
but made right before God.
But it is not just a ritual, a series of words it
is the means by which YOU can now begin to Know God Almighty, to become
his child, to begin the most wonderful adventure of your life. His death
for us was the greatest gift you can possibly fathom, but it is not a ticket
to justify a
continual lifestyle of sin ,
Giving your life to Christ means just that, TURNING
from your old nature that leads to death to the new one that leads to life.
Put this in your mind once and for all. If you truly wish to Know
God than obey God PERIOD, don't turn to the left or to the right FOCUS
on the race ahead, if you fall get
up, if you sin ask for forgiveness and turn from
it. Set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD and you will find him.
GIVE UP YOUR SIN AND TURN
TO GOD
Matthew 7:21-23(amplified bible)
Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter
the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in
heaven.Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works
in Your name?And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew
you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]
Mark 8:34
Then he called the crowd to him along with his
disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself
and take up his cross and follow me.
DONT LET DECEPTION AND
THE LIES OF SATAN TURN YOU AWAY
I will post an example prayer below frequently called
the sinners prayer, but really all one needs to do, is to come to him in
true sincerity, to confess your sins with humbleness and in a spirit of
true repentance.
Ask for forgiveness and COMMIT yourself to him.
Talk to him as you would a dear friend. It is the heart that God searches
not speeches and words. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
simply be sincere...
Isaiah 66:2
I have made everything; that's how it all came to
be. I, the LORD, have spoken.The people I treasure most are the humble--
they depend only on me and tremble when I speak.
Romans 10: 9-13
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,"
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be
saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and
it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture
says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."For there is
no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and
richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved."
Sinners Prayer,
Heavenly Father
I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness
of
my Sins. I confess with my mouth and believe
with my
heart that Jesus is your Son, And that he died
on the
Cross at Calvary that I might be forgiven and have
Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father,
I believe
that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask you right
now
to come in to my life and be my personal Lord and
Savior. I repent of my Sins and will Worship you
all the
day's of my Life!. Because your word is truth,
I confess
with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed
by the Blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name,
